- Project Support Intern -Water For Adaptation and Period Poverty (W4APP)

Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Project Support Intern will serve as a main contact for the project community. The Project Support Intern will assist the coordination of ongoing activities of the sanitary pad production center and the project community. She or he will conduct needs assessment on various upcoming project activities while providing the required climate change and menstrual education to the target groups to ensure success of existing activities.
2. Youth Climate Council, Ghana; Multiple Roles
The Youth Climate Council (YCC) is an institutional mechanism to enhance inclusion and accessibility for the youth climate movement in climate and environmental decision-making processes. Implemented by the Green Africa Youth Organization, the YCC Ghana aims to provide an official avenue for youth-led organizations, individuals and civil society to participate in policy despite their geographic location or resource constraints. At the same time, it aspires to be a hub to share resources and expertise and provide financial, technical and knowledge resources. We aim to contribute to building a unified and collaborative movement in Ghana that delivers a high positive impact for the collective across Africa and the Global South.

Communications and Outreach Officer, Youth Climate Council, Ghana
The Officer will be the focal person at the Secretariat to achieve brand consistency, content and message coordination, and the highest standards for internal and external communications. The Communications and Outreach Officer will be responsible for community management and ensuring that the services provided by the YCC reach as many youth climate activists and youth-focused organizations as possible.

Research and Policy Officer, Youth Climate Council, Ghana
The Research and Policy Officer will be responsible for managing, coordinating, conceptualizing and designing research activities of the YCC. S/he will provide technical guidance related to policy engagement of youth climate organizations in Ghana at the regional and national levels. The Research and Policy Officer will ensure the delivery of research that aligns the work of young climate leaders in Ghana with international climate frameworks and environmental policies.

Capacity Building and Education Officer, Youth Climate Council, Ghana
The Capacity Building and Education Officer will be responsible for engaging and mobilizing people from different backgrounds, especially civil society and youth movements in Ghana. They will work with new and existing climate groups to design and deliver educational programs that help to improve bottom-up participation. This will involve movement-building, as well as connecting people in networks, developing their skills, and providing them with tools.

Green Africa Youth Organisation (GAYO) seeks to hire a Communications and Media Specialist to oversee the organization’s communication needs by providing specialist advice including communications, media relations, social/digital media, brand alignment, multi-media productions, community, corporate and employee engagement, developing and implementing strategic communications for both internal and external audiences. The Communication Specialist will be required to produce striking project reports, captivating visuals and promotional products for ongoing projects and future projects.
